CHRISTIAN CAROE
EXPERIENCED TOASTMASTER AND ARCHAEOLOGIST
A former Royal Marines Officer who had a short, but distinguished career including a tour of Northern Ireland and the Falklands War 1982. After a serious injury, sustained on operations, he left the Corps and spent the next 25 years in sales.
Working for Blue Chip, National and Local Companies he developed a number of products which paved the way for Christmas gifts to be viewed in a different light. Developing new designs and flavours he was asked to work with other high street stores and develop similar products.
At the weekends he became involved in a local archaeological group and subsequently became one of the Directors and Trustees of the Charity. With over 12 years experience as a volunteer field archaeologist he has developed some unique skills including thatching and Bronze Age pottery.
As a Master of Ceremonies and Toastmaster he has worked in a variety of venues around the country and has been invited to the House of Commons in 2014 to host a prestigious dinner.
