Paul Hickley, BA (Hons), FRIN

 

Paul Hickley is an ex-RAF navigator, mainly on Vulcans, Canberras and Andovers. He is an experienced speaker, familiar with giving presentations and has actually taught the techniques to BA students at Oxford.

Paul has 6500 flying hours and is a graduate of the RAF’s GD Aerosystems course. Paul has also held various RAF staff and management appointments, including being in charge of the MOD’s aeronautical chart production department. On leaving the RAF, he joined Hunting Aviation in 1992, retiring as Flight Operations Manager in 1998 and joined Oxford Aviation Academy as a pilot instructor, retiring as Head of Modular Ground Training in 2009. Paul is a Fellow of the RIN, sitting on its General Aviation Navigation Group (GANG) and Technical Committees. He is also a private pilot and is interested in music and history.
