POLICE SUPERINDENT (RECENTLY RETIRED)



David has recently retired as a Police Superintendent after 30 years service with Greater Manchester Police. He started his career on the frontline during the Miner’s strike and finished being the Senior Officer in charge at the time of the Salford Riots.Known as an exceptional thief taker David worked his way up to the senior rank of Superintendent the hard way. Using the methods he had learned along the way he led an operation recognised, by Home Secretary Theresa May, as one of the most successful and innovative to tackle organised crime.Having through the military style training of the 8o’s and David was given the job of resurrecting the reputation of Police Training after the BBCs ‘Secret Policeman’.

David is an experienced speaker regularly presenting in policing circles, community events, Universities, the Home Office and even as a master of ceremonies at a wedding in New Zealand.David was previously a professional musician on the club circuit and is a talented portrait artist.
