JOHN HALSTEAD BSc (Hons) DETECTIVE CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT (Rtd)

Former Detective Chief Inspectorhaving served thirty years with the West Yorkshire Police.

Highly commended for roles performed within serious crime investigations, and throughout the ranks from Detective Constable to Senior Investigating Officer, had the practical ‘hands on’ experience of carrying out the key roles within murder investigations.

Recognised as a skilled Police Trainer having  been involved in the training of police officers not only from the United Kingdom but from around  four corners of the world.

On retiring has been contracted as an Independent Senior Investigator with the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Historic Enquiries Team involved with the reviewing of sectarian murder investigations.

As a training consultant, hascontinued to work in the police training arena and recently has been delivering crime courses in Libya.
